Set Password in Access Database

In this article, I have described how to set passwords in database using the simple encrypt feature. Password protected database is prevent to miss used.  Steps are given below

Step 1: First open your database with “Exclusive” option as given below image

Step 2:  Go to “Info” tag from “File” menu and select “Encrypt with Password” option as below image

Step 3: Enter the password and press “OK” button as following image.

Step 4: Now test your database it is password protected or not

Step 5: Now open your database again. When you open database again it required password as below image.

When password should be required for opening database hence your database is secured. If you want to remove password means decrypt your database with password then follow below steps.

Step 6: Open database as in step 1.

Step 7: Go to “File” menu and select “Decrypt” option from “Info” tag as below image.

Step 8: Enter password which you entered during encrypted time (in step 3) as below image.
